I get a lot of requests from folks asking me to promote their event, organization or issue.

In most of those instances, I don’t have the info I need to even create a simple blog post.

So, to help me help you, if you’d like something posted here, please write the blog post for me. And if it’s the right fit for this blog, I’ll post it as soon as I can get to it.

Couple of tips:

• Look at the other posts here and write something in a similar format, style and length.
• Don’t give me save-the-date information with just the name, date and location. Not enough info for a blog post.
• Absolutely don’t send me a PDF flyer and ask me to retype all the info.  That’s lame.
• If you already have a press release, that’s perfect and can be submitted to me as-is.
