CAA, nationally recognized and respected civil rights organization, is looking for an individual with excellent communication and organizational skills for the position of Communications and Membership Director.

The director is responsible for the development and implementation of communications and membership strategies that build awareness and support for CAA and our public policy agenda among APA communities, as well as in the public at large.

The director will initiate and maintain key media relationships, organize and oversee volunteer and membership activities, and coordinate the production and release of publications, marketing, and online materials.

Hawai’i Chamber Mixer with Filipino Bar and FYPA

Manilatown Cultural Center, San Francisco, 848 Kearny Street (at Jackson)

HCCNC (hccnc.com) is teaming up with the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California, Filipino Young Professionals Association, and the San Francisco Manilatown Heritage Foundation to sponsor our Fall 2006 business social mixer at the new Manilatown Cultural Center in San Francisco.

Featuring ono pupus from L&L Hawaiian Barbeque and Hukilau Restaurants. Guest speaker: Mr. Eddie Flores, President of L&L Hawaiian Barbeque, the successful takeout food franchise. 6-8pm.
